Pro Results Team Training or "PRT Training" is our new Personal Training Program we are launching in select locations nationwide that is committed to quality programming and adaptive coaching in state-of-the-art training facilities, while still maintaining a sense of community. SUMMARY: The Pro Results Team Training Coach (PRT Coach) provides semi-private and private instruction and guidance to members regarding their exercise abilities and techniques to enable safe and effective exercise experiences for the members. Most of the PRT Coach's clientele will be in the semi-private format, taking up to 8 clients through all three phases of their workout in the state-of-the-art workout area specifically reverse engineered to the program.
PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Provide private and semi-private instruction, guidance, and techniques to members within their exercise abilities and in order to enable safe and effective exercise experiences in accordance with the PRT programming and MBSC Thrive Systems.
- Educate and motivate members toward a healthier, more fit lifestyle.
- Establish baseline measurements for members by offering appropriate fitness tests and assessments.
- Develop positive relationships with members and encourage active participation and program growth.
- Maintain accurate records and completes forms and reports as required.
- Maintain cleanliness of PRT Training area.
- Work as a team member with all staff to provide a high level of service to members.
- Communicate effectively with other staff members, and management, to assure delivery of a strong program within established policies and procedures.
- Attend scheduled department meetings and required staff training throughout the year.
- Seek continuing education experiences to gain knowledge, improve skills, and maintain required certifications.
- May be asked to perform other duties as assigned.
- SMILE and provide a positive environment for all members, staff, and guests.
Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Nationally accredited Personal Trainer certification required, to be maintained throughout employment. (Ex. NASM, ISSA, ACE, NFPT, etc.)
- Additional MBSC Thrive Level 1 certification required, to be maintained throughout employment. (Provided through company if new hire does not currently hold).
- Experience in fitness and strength training required.
- Experience with team athletics at all levels preferred.
- Associate or bachelor's degree with a concentration in exercise physiology, kinesiology, or health and fitness related preferred and can be used in place of Personal Trainer certification.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with sound judgement.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT: The PRT Coach functions regularly within exercise, recreation, and office settings. The PRT Training Pod is a highly modernized and motivating training environment that each coach will have access to! These pods are specifically designed for the programming used for the semi-private training sessions.
