The Business Analyst will guide our reporting and analyzing systems that empower us to make smart, efficient, and effective business decisions. The Business Analyst will have a day-to-day, ongoing impact on company operations, helping us to analyze, strategize, and grow our business. They will have a broad understanding of all departments, supply chain, finances, operations, sales, etc. to help streamline effective reports and analysis. They will use kanban, kaizen, and lean six-sigma methodologies when it comes to processes.

Core Responsibilities:

· Ensures accurate reporting on the Company’s metrics to the CEO and the executive management team with continuous improvement of Financial Planning & Analysis.

· Review planning and budgeting processes and suggest improvements to current methods.

· Works with department heads to create accurate reports to track department performance on specific KPIs.

· Provides support for data gathering, analytics, process mapping, and standardization.

· Compares sales and profit projections to actual figures and budgeted expenses to actual expenses.

· Works with senior leaders to coordinate planning and establish priorities for the financial planning process.

· Acts as the business partner for department leaders in providing accurate analytics and counsel on strategic business developments.

· Works with business line managers on relevant Key Performance Indicators and metrics and ensures that the operational and technology processes are in place to provide timely and accurate information.

· Remains informed about the business, puts measurements and reporting dashboards into place enabling real-time assessment of performance and ‘what’s over the horizon’.

· Develop and implement best practices and tools to ensure a well-controlled yet flexible organization that has strong metric management, project coordination, cross-team collaboration.

· Other ad hoc requests as requested by Leadership.

Qualifications:

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Strong organizational skills and technical aptitude.

· Proficiency in MS Office applications.

· Experience using analytics, benchmarking, and insights to produce meaningful strategies and solutions.

· Proficient in database and application systems.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity.

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in finance, business or related field with minimum 8 years of related work experience.

· Lean six-sigma certification preferred.

· Experience in operations, supply chain, finance, and analytics.

· Experience with food manufacturing/distribution a plus.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

Frequently required sit and operate a computer, periodically required to stand; walk; use of hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop; kneel; crouch or crawl; and to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color, and depth vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to occasionally loud. Exposure to allergens such as Soy, Wheat, Tree Nuts, Milk/Dairy, eggs etc.
