Overview and Responsibilities

The Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) Global Reporting and Consolidations team is seeking a qualified Financial Analyst to join their team in New York or Los Angeles. The role is focused on consolidating and reporting for the DTC Segment, with exposure to the streaming business and all P&L accounts. This position offers the right candidate a meaningful opportunity to contribute towards optimizing the reporting of key performance indicators and streamlining financial processes to help inform long-term digital strategies. The ideal candidate is organized, solution focused, and able to take initiative.
  • Update the consolidated financial reporting of the DTC segment (including trending schedules of key revenue driving metrics, P&Ls, variance dashboards, etc.) with every monthly forecast, Budget, and Long-Range Plan submissions by partnering with business teams across the streaming organization
  • Develop and improve processes around key performance indicators to help streamline and enhance reporting
  • Build dashboards for senior leadership
  • Enhance reporting around cost efficiency ratios (Content, Marketing, Other)
  • Support consistency across all reporting by maintaining and monitoring the accuracy of financial systems to ensure it reflects up to date information
  • Contribute to financial presentations (Board materials, Earnings preparation, slides for senior leadership, etc.) and assist in understanding and drafting commentary on material variances
  • Work with finance teams and other business partners to gain insight and knowledge about their business and understand their growth drivers and challenges
  • Collaborate with business teams to submit forecasts internally as well as to Corporate
  • Partner with Controllership on actuals to align on external reporting
  • Facilitate smooth transition to new ERP system
  • Participate in internal projects and other ad hoc reporting
  • Prepare and distribute quarterly industry analyses to DTC Central Finance teams by conducting competitive analysis
  • Liaise with teams globally to collect and aggregate data

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required (Finance/Economics/Mathematics/Accounting major preferred)
  • 2-4 years of experience in FP&A, Finance, or other related roles

Additional Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Excel and Google Suite, and able to prepare complex financial models and manipulate large datasets
  • Strong work ethic and acute attention to detail is required
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, perform efficiently, manage multiple high priority tasks simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines
  • Able to communicate and partner with a wide range of cross functional partners at all levels of the organization
  • Experience in a highly analytical environment
  • Influence and communicate with others to create effective working relationships to drive work forward
  • Contribute to a culture of people development and learning while promoting DE&I advocacy
  • Able to maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive issues or information

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION


Hiring Salary Range: $60,000.00 - 80,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
