As the Financial Analyst, you will have the opportunity to provide valuable support to our finance team. You will work closely with the Director of Finance and department heads to assist in financial analysis, reporting, and decision support activities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in conducting financial analysis, including budget variance analysis, financial forecasting, and trend analysis.
  • Compile and organize financial data from various sources for analysis and reporting purposes.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal stakeholders and management.
  • Support the development and maintenance of financial models to facilitate strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Assist in analyzing key financial metrics and indicators to assess business performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Controller to update and refine financial models as needed.
  • Assist in tracking and analyzing expense trends and patterns to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
  • Help maintain budgetary guidelines and monitor adherence to budget targets across departments.
  • Provide support in identifying discrepancies or variances and assisting in corrective actions.
  • Support efforts to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal financial policies and procedures.
  • Assist in conducting internal audits and reviews to assess financial controls and identify potential risks.
  • Stay informed about changes in financial regulations and industry best practices.
  • Provide general administrative support to the finance team, including data entry, filing, and documentation.
  • Assist with special projects and ad hoc requests as assigned by senior analysts or management.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze financial information as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial concepts and terminology.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
