What You’ll Do:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis:
    • Collaborate with management to develop annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
    • Conduct variance analysis to identify key drivers of financial performance and provide insights to stakeholders.
    • Assist in the development of financial models to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
  • Financial Reporting:
    • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements in financial reporting.
    • Present financial findings and recommendations to senior management in a clear and concise manner.
  • Cost Analysis and Optimization:
    • Evaluate the cost-effectiveness of various programs and services offered by the organization.
    • Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiency improvements.
    • Work closely with department heads to monitor and control expenses while maintaining quality of care.
  • Revenue Analysis and Forecasting:
    • Analyze revenue streams and trends to assess financial performance and identify growth opportunities.
    • Develop revenue forecasts and assess the impact of potential changes in reimbursement rates or payer mix.
    • Support revenue recognition processes in accordance with accounting standards and organizational policies.
  • Financial Systems and Process Improvement:
    • Continuously assess and improve financial systems, processes, and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
    • Recommend and implement changes to streamline workflows and improve data integrity.
    • Provide training and support to staff on financial tools and processes as needed.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in healthcare or related industry.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and statistical techniques.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful insights.
  • Solid understanding of healthcare finance, including reimbursement mechanisms and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and NetSuite similar ERP system.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Working Conditions: Work is performed in an office or other environmentally controlled room.
