We have a unique and exciting career opportunity for a Financial Analyst at our Burbank, CA campus.

Job Summary:

The Financial Analyst directs and performs financial analysis and reporting activities to support short-term and long-range strategic plans and operating budgets. The Financial Analyst also manages the company's financial planning process and procedures, evaluates data and analyzes trends in sales, operations, general business conditions, and other related areas, and identifies performance issues and makes recommendations to senior leadership for remedial actions.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop, maintain, and provide highly complex financial information
  • Provide support in strategy, budgeting and forecasting process within the local entity and across business units
  • Report on P&L and Balance Sheet variance analysis related to budget, forecast and prior year results
  • Work closely with Corporate accounting organization to ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly and year-end close, including revenue and accrual process
  • Provide financial support for both capital and non-capital investments to ensure that each department is following proper accounting rules and staying within the specified approved budget
  • Evaluate resource timing, cost impacts, trending, and variances
  • Work closely with management to ensure adherence to budgets and successful financial performance
  • Analyze circumstances or data requiring evaluation and judgment of intangible conditions
  • Provide summary and analysis of special studies conducted and prepare recommendations for management to implement policies and guidelines to improve company’s financial position
  • Prepare and distribute periodic financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders on specific deadlines
  • Any other task assigned by supervisor or management

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in a Financial Analyst role or equivalent position
  • Knowledge: Advanced financial theory
  • Skills/Abilities: Time management skills; Ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities, schedule and meet deadlines; Ability to maintain orderly and accurate files and records; Ability to use appropriate levels of tact and courtesy in personal and group interaction; Demonstrated high level of accuracy and follow through; Strong analytical ability; Continuous improvement mindset; Ability to clearly present data and analysis; Ability to prepare clear, directed presentations; Self-Motivated; Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal staff and outside professionals
  • Education/Certification: BA or BS Degree in Business, Finance or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA preferred

Working Conditions:

  • Standard office environment
  • Work requires substantial visual concentration on detail
  • Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment
  • Manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist straps and any other required PPE
  • May be exposed to unusual environmental conditions such as loud noises, cold temperatures, confined spaces, dust or fumes

Salary range: $111,100 to $134,700. Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications.
