Overview:
The financial analyst will play an important role in supporting the airtime financial operations team. Primary areas of focus will include development and implementation of detailed reporting tools to provide senior management with clear visibility into airtime revenue and subscriber trends. Qualified candidates will demonstrate strong technical skills including the ability to distill large data sets into actionable information. This is a full-time, onsite position at our Middletown, RI global headquarters.
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare standardized monthly airtime reports utilized by the senior management team which include but are not limited to subscriber metrics, customer revenue analytics, and revenue segmentation by region or service type.
  • Become an airtime subject matter expert. In addition to timely and accurate preparation of reporting, possess the ability to both interpret and understand the output of reported results.
  • Track Airtime KPI’s including customer activations, terminations, and average revenue per user (ARPU) calculations.
  • Serve as the point person/subject matter expert in the airtime billing system data structure and act as the central point of contact for ad hoc report requests.
  • Consolidate and prepare presentations used for monthly leadership team meetings, board meetings, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Assist with designing and developing departmental Salesforce dashboards to assist with department management.
  • Develop and maintain standard reporting library to support Airtime Agent team with generating reports in response to internal and external customer requests.
  • Maintain inventory and control over all recurring airtime reports distributed both internally and to customers.
  • Prepare licensing, royalty and other reports necessary to support services.
  • Data analysis and review; data cleansing projects as needed to ensure data integrity in reporting.
  • Initiate and implement process improvements in areas of responsibility to facilitate department scalability.
  • Create and maintain work instructions for areas of responsibility.
  • Additional ad hoc reporting and analyses as required to support evolving business needs.
Qualifications:
  • Self-starter; highly organized and detailed.
  • 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or financial operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or other quantitative discipline.
  • Strong technical skills: Intermediate to advanced Excel, and aptitude for databases and reporting; Crystal Reports a plus.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Sound business judgement.
  • Ability to prioritize and adapt to changes in systems and processes as part of working in a dynamic environment.
  • Comfortable working through tasks which are not fully structured and involve moderate levels of ambiguity.
