Responsibilities:
  • Gathers and analyzes financial information on costs, prices, expenses and revenues.
  • Assists with the preparation and analysis of forecasts and budgets.
  • Maintains & analyzes financial dashboards & reports used for analysis of accounting and
business wide issues.
  • Assists with the design and production of monthly reports.
  • Assists with the generation of invoices and tracking/reconciliation of outstanding Accounts
Receivables.
  • Supports business unit employees through analysis of financial data.
  • Ensures company compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and
assists with interpretation and implementation of new accounting standards.
  • Collaborates and communicates with various corporate departments on data integrity and
validation.
  • Ensures compliance with accounting policies and procedures and recommend accounting
process improvements.
  • Special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required Skills:

  • Excellent organizational, oral presentation and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze and organize data.
  • Ability to work both in a team situation and autonomously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, in particular PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Database and Financial Management systems (ex: Workday) experience preferred.
  • Highly Effective Ability to prioritize and manage multiple activity streams.
  • Ability to work effectively with and communicate with all levels of management

Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred

Expereince: 1+ years’ experience of financial analysis or relevant academic experience

Working Conditions: Hybrid (Will be going into our Boston office 2-3 times a week)

Compensation:
Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $50,000-$55,000. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.
