We have an exciting opportunity for an Enterprise Data Supervisor to join Ferguson's IT Enterprise Data and Analytics Operations team. In this role as a people supervisor, you will lead the category teams for Onboarding and Enrichment of Product Data for the Build with Ferguson site. This role includes the guidance and management of multiple associates that take on various tasks under the umbrella of Product Data. The Enterprise Data Operations Supervisor will prepare and provide important monthly metrics of the performance of their associates to meet the agreed upon SLA for their teams.

This role is approved to be remote or hybrid, as it relates to company policy.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and managing staff members in the daily use of data systems.
  • Advising and allocating work to staff, as well as monitoring and evaluating their work.
  • Proposing changes in data production processes to reduce errors and improve data quality.
  • Planning for and implementation of testing and applying tools/software programs.
  • Actively identify training needs to ensure the team is able to competently complete their tasks.
  • Schedule and lead team meetings, ensuring all points are recorded and actioned upon.
  • Collaborates with partners on data needs and workflow, finding opportunities to streamline and automate data between systems and teams.
  • Taking calls as needed to support direct associates or collaborate with leadership and coworkers.
  • Time Management of daily/weekly/monthly schedule to complete tasks as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business field, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree required.
  • 3+ years relevant work experience required.
  • Previous experience and background in managing data platforms, processes, and resources with retail data experience in a multi-channel environment a plus.
  • Ability to bring Industry standards and outside ideas into the organization and drive required changes.
  • Solid understanding of data management tooling and platforms (SQL, Tableau, PowerBI, Python, etc.) a plus.
  • Exhibits basic understanding of data governance.
  • Solid grasp of and experience working in an MDM and/or PIM system.
  • Fully proficient in Excel.
  • Understanding of compliance and regulation of private or critical data.
  • Broad working knowledge of technology concepts, principles, and processes.
  • Experience working with project teams of varying size and scope.
  • Ability to work with internal resources and vendors on the same projects.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work.
  • Ability to optimally communicate in writing and verbally.
  • Ability to efficiently operate computers, tablets, and mobile devices.
  • Demonstrated ability to complete established goals with limited guidance.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.).

Pay Range:

Actual pay rate may vary depending upon location. The estimated pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on a candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.

$5,358.06 - $9,380.94

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
