We are seeking a Employee Relations Specialist who is responsible for improving and maintaining employee relations in the workplace. This role evaluates employee needs, builds trust, and fosters a positive work environment. The Employee Relations Specialist will also work to resolve conflicts, provide guidance to managers, and ensure compliance with labor laws.
Employee Relations Specialist Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain programs to promote positive employee relations in the workplace
  • Manage employee grievances and resolve conflicts in an effective and timely manner
  • Monitor and enforce company policies and procedures
  • Develop and conduct employee relations training
  • Advise management on a variety of employee relations issues
  • Investigate and respond to employee complaints
  • Research and recommend best practices to enhance employee engagement
  • Monitor labor law changes and ensure compliance
  • Analyze employee relations data and trends
Employee Relations Specialist Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field
  • Proven experience in employee relations or similar roles
  • Thorough understanding of labor laws and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Able to manage difficult conversations with tact and diplomacy
  • Proficient in MS Office and HR information systems
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
