Summary
The E-commerce Category Manager’s primary responsibility is to develop and execute category level strategy to achieve its sales goals. This role will proactively work with multiple internal supporting teams, such as merchandising, product development, marketing, planning team etc.
Essential Responsibilities
- Develop category level sales strategy to achieve annual, quarterly, and monthly goals.
- Facilitate teamwork, using or optimizing current SOPs for respective tasks.
- Strategize promotion plans on the retail channel.
- Partner with Merchandising/Product team on the product selection
- Work with internal planners to forecast and monitor inventory flow and develop action plans to improve in-stock rate and address unhealthy inventory.
- Lever all tools and resources available to chase top line sales within their categories and create tools as necessary.
- Collaborate with advertising & content team to optimize listings.
- Monitor other e-commence metrics and action out as needed.
Job Experience/Requirements
- Prior experience selling on Ecommerce platform: Amazon, Walmart, Overstock
- Excellent analytics, organizational and coordination skills.
- A good mixture of analytical and strategic thinking.
- A team player with a positive, self-driven and proactive mentality.
- Ability to learn, create, and adapt to ever changing e-Commerce activities.
- Experienced in Amazon Vendor Central is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
