Couronne Company, Incorporated is a leading supplier for the glassware and glass packaging industries. Our product line consists of gift, home décor, and product packaging designs across three subsidiary companies. With 30+ years of experience in the glassware industry, Couronne prides itself on providing outstanding customer service and a vast selection of recycled glassware products.

We are looking for an experienced Distribution Manager that can take our warehouse operations to the next level. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our distribution center, including overseeing warehouse employees, optimizing processes, and implementing our new Warehouse Management System (WMS), which is scheduled to launch in Q2 2024. The Distribution Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods through our warehouse while maintaining high levels of accuracy and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Management

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of warehouse employees, including a warehouse lead and pickers/packers.
  • Establish clear performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback and training to ensure team members meet productivity and quality standards.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products.
  • Develop and implement efficient warehouse procedures and workflows to optimize productivity and minimize errors.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock management, including cycle counts, stock rotations, and replenishment.

WMS Implemenation

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the implementation of the new Warehouse Management System (WMS) scheduled for launch in Q2.
  • Collaborate with the internal management team and external vendors to define system requirements, configure the WMS, and ensure successful implementation within the established timelines and budget.
  • Provide training and support to warehouse staff on WMS functionality and best practices to maximize system utilization and efficiency.

Performance Analysis and Improvement

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse operations, such as order accuracy, on-time delivery, and labor productivity.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Regularly review and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) to reflect best practices and industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in distribution management, preferably in a warehouse or fulfillment center environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively coach, develop, and motivate teams.
  • Experience with WMS implementation and optimization is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $72,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
