About the Role & Team
“Let’s make some magic!” If your three wishes are to enjoy your job, make wishes come true, and merge that with technical skills, Disneyland Resort Ticket Administration may be the place for you. In this position, you will be a system administrator for Galaxy - the software used for managing ticket products.
What You Will Do
You will lead project and system enhancement work including design, prioritization, and user acceptance testing. You will review data, analyze trends, and provide monthly reporting and use that information to identify options to reduce or eliminate future issues or control gaps. You will implement new projects through partnership with leaders, peers, and Resort partners. When recommending changes, you will confer with your leader and proceed with development upon approval from your leader. On this team, we will empower you to make decisions relative to everyday operations and workload, including resolution of issues.
A Day In The Life
On any given day, you are responsible for reviewing your individual emails as well as those received in the shared inbox. You will prioritize your work weekly with minimal help from your leader(s) and personally reevaluate daily in case of new initiatives – you will be a part of an ever-evolving environment with fluctuating daily goals. You will assist with questions from stakeholders around the Resort about how products were configured and/or user setup and ultimately be a subject matter expert. This could mean in-person meetings or virtual meetings and you must be comfortable with both.
You will configure admission products and work independently on your assigned products. You are often also a representative of the Ticket Administration team in meetings with senior leaders and must provide succinct responses to balance being an advocate for our team’s needs and point of view while being flexible and collaborative. You will complete the work needed to move projects forward in the technology space around ticket products, reservations, and the overall Guest Experience. Most of your products and their configurations as well as the project work are confidential. Time each day is spent supporting fellow Financial Analysts and mentoring Staff Analysts through discussion as each Cast Member on the team is expected to be a resource for each other in product launches, project work, and career growth.
