Position Summary: The Director of Maintenance is responsible for the oversight of planning and coordinating the workflow of aircraft mechanics.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Essential Functions:
· Able to perform maintenance scheduling and create accurate customer estimates.
· Set standards and guidelines for technicians.
· Leads the aircraft maintenance organization to ensure the highest standard of customer satisfaction is met while keeping safety and quality of aircraft maintenance a top priority.
· Plan, direct, and supervise day to day activities for all aircraft maintenance for outside customers and flight school aircraft.
· Provide guidance for workforce management.
· Mentor, motivate and appraise team members.
· Lead recruitment objectives, monitor and support full recruiting and hiring process.
· Assist in improvement of current company policies and procedures and help develop and implement future policies in coordination with Executive team.
· Identify, evaluate, and resolve issues or problems concerning efficiency and effectiveness of departmental operations.
· Establish department objectives and performance goals and assess progress toward their achievement.
· Communicate effectively with Executive members and Operations team to manage and support the overarching goals of the organization.
· All other duties as they arise.
Experience:
· Knowledge of multiple helicopter platforms including:
o Airbus H125(AS350) and H130
o Bell 407 and 412
o Agusta 109 and 119
· 7-10 years of experience with general aviation maintenance operations.
· Part 145 repair station experience.
· Experience with aircraft record keeping.
Certificates & Licenses:
· Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate.
· Must hold an FAA Inspection Authorization (IA).

Pay: $105,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
