Plans, directs and carries out policies relating to all phases of HR activities. Keeps record of insurance coverage, pension plan, and personnel transactions, such as hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations. Investigates accidents and prepares reports for insurance carrier. Conducts wage survey within labor market to determine competitive wage rate. May be responsible for evaluating and suggesting new benefit or compensation structures or changes to existing plans.
Education: Graduation from an accredited college or university with an undergraduate degree in Human Resources Management preferred.
Experience: A minimum of five (5) years management or human resources experience preferred. Work record that demonstrates in-depth knowledge of federal and state labor laws; experience with the administration and coordination of health benefits and retirement plans; negotiating skills, and knowledge of healthcare industry.
Licenses, Certifications and/or Registrations: SPHR preferred
Specialized Knowledge and Skills: Requires knowledge in the use of computer software. Must use software to develop spreadsheets for analytical purposes. Must possess extensive leadership skills, problem solving abilities, and positive interpersonal and communication skills. Must possess the ability to resolve conflicts and address concerns related to employees.
