We are looking for a Director of Central Planning to lead the planning and execution of Skyworks' global supply chain operations. The Director of Central Planning will be based in Irvine, CA and responsible for the following areas:

Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP): Manage the monthly S&OP process with all stakeholders and executives. Ensure the S&OP process is robust, efficient, and transparent. Drive continuous improvement and best practices in S&OP.
Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE): Monitor and manage the weekly execution of the S&OE process. Identify and drive resolution for any issues or risks that may impact the delivery of customer orders or executing to revenue plan. Coordinate with operations, engineering and logistics teams to ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Inventory Management: Optimize the inventory levels and mix across the supply chain network. Develop and implement inventory policies and targets that balance service, cost, and risk. Analyze and report on inventory performance and trends. Lead inventory reduction initiatives and projects.
Production flows for NPIs: Collaborate with BU, Engineering, Operations teams to define flows and sourcing for NPIs. Own capacity planning for Product Realization Process (PRP).
Audits: Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements and standards. Drive the preparation and execution of audits. Implement corrective and preventive actions as needed.
Resilience: Assess and mitigate the potential impact of supply chain disruptions and risks. Develop and maintain business continuity plans and strategies. Lead the response and recovery efforts in case of any supply chain crisis or emergency. Leverage tools such as Resilinc.
End of Life Management: Manage the end of life process for products that are being phased out or discontinued. Coordinate with product line management, sales, operations, and customers to plan and execute the end of life / last time buy activities. Minimize excess and obsolete inventory and maximize customer service.
Long Term Forecasts for Suppliers: Provide long term (3 yr) forecasts and capacity requirements to key suppliers and partners. Negotiate and secure supply commitments. Manage supplier relationships and performance together with Sourcing/Procurement teams.
Drive systems and business process improvements in the above areas and lead/participate in digital transformation projects.


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred.
Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain planning, operations, or management with a minimum of 4 years in a Semiconductor environment.
Strong knowledge and understanding of supply chain concepts, processes, and best practices.
Proven leadership and management skills. Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of planning professionals.
Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to communicate effectively with senior management, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to use data and tools to drive decision making and improvement. Hands-on data analysis skills using one or more of tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, QlikView is preferred.
Highly adaptable and flexible. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Proficient in Advanced usage of Microsoft Office, ERP systems such as SAP, and planning software such as Blue Yonder or o9 or Kinaxis or Adexa.
In addition, the candidate will have a strong vision and passion for digital transformation. The candidate will be able to leverage digital technologies and platforms to enhance the efficiency, agility, and visibility of the supply chain operations. The candidate will be able to identify and implement digital solutions that can create value for Skyworks and its customers.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $136,800 - $271,500 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others. Employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan, and certain roles are also eligible for additional awards, including recognition and stock.
