  • Supplier Qualification and Development - Displays advanced proficiency in challenging scenarios and provides guidance to others in the domains of Quality Standards and Regulation, Supplier Auditing and Compliance, Supply Chain Risk Management, Analytics & Statistical Problem Solving, 8D Problem Solving (Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Preventive Action Advanced), Supplier Approval and Qualification, PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), APQP - ASQ, Core Industrialization Planning Quality Tools (PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC, Poka-Yoke, GD&T, CTQ/CTP management), and Non-conformance Management, including Rework and Repair.
  • Quality Control and Inspection - Recognized as an expert and can coach others in the areas of Measurement Tools and Techniques, Incoming Quality Control, Poka-Yoke, OK 1st Part, Check do Check, and Final inspection & Temporary Quality Walls.
  • Continuous Improvement - Advanced competencies and can train others in CI tools like 8D, VSM, A3, RedX, Kata QRCI, and Kaikaku.
  • Customer Experience / Performance - Has experience in analyzing customer voice data and uses advanced analytical skills to extract valuable insights. Creates a strong sense of urgency and influence with stakeholders to prevent customer pain points.
  • Design for Safety and Reliability - In addition to demonstrated skills at the component level, candidate must contribute and influence DfSR in the areas of CTQ Management, Mission Profile, P-diagram, DFMEA, FTA, Tolerancing, and participate in Robustness Assessments.
  • Industrialization Quality (Preparation and Planning) - Demonstrates advanced ability to coach and advise others in PFMEA, CTP development, Process Capability, Control Plans, Problem Solving, and Pilot Run - PPAP.
  • Industrialization Quality (Pre-series / Launch) - Effectively influences a cross functional team of professionals during Launch phases in the areas of Problem Solving, Process Capability Validation, Process Audit (VDA), Product Change Management, Lessons Learned, Reverse PFMEA, and Temporary Quality Walls.
  • Quality Authority - Ability to be a project team's expert and authority and is capable of training others for all stop work situations, non-conformance management, customer satisfaction monitoring, and supplier performance monitoring.

  • Experience - 10-15 years working in new offer creation following APQP methodologies
  • Education - Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing or related Engineering field.
  • Desired Certifications - CQE or any other ASQ certifications, Six Sigma Green/Black belt, VDA 6.3 Process Auditor.
