JOB SUMMARY: The Database Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the operation of email marketing, SMS marketing and other forms of database marketing. Additionally, this role will be responsible for data acquisition and fan development.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Email and SMS Marketing:
- Day-to-day operations related to Email, SMS and other forms of multi-channel marketing automation (eg., plan, build, execute, monitor and report on campaigns).
- Build email/sms communications/campaigns – this includes segmentation/targeting of email list using data warehouse.
- Evaluation of sales and marketing campaigns to improve effectiveness.
- Coordinate with other departments (sponsorship, stadium, marketing, ticketing) in fan communication/marketing automation needs.
- Report campaign results back to stakeholders.
- Identify preferred method of communication for fans.
Data acquisition and integration:
- Build and maintain all forms for contests and promotions.
- Responsible for manual ETL of data to Eloqua, CRM and Data Warehouse from variety of sources (e.g., contests, external data sources, league database)
- Update and maintain subscriptions for Email and SMS marketing
- Responsible for data hygiene - help maintain clean data.
- Update contest/data acquisition reporting and share with other departments.
Other:
- Assist Business Intelligence team with additional analysis and research as needed.
- Assist with Dynamics CRM operations as needed
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Resume and cover letter
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum 1 year of marketing automation experience
- HTML and CSS knowledge required
- SQL knowledge required
- Experience with Eloqua or similar email marketing platform (e.g., SFMC, Marketo)
- Understanding of data acquisition
- Detail oriented with strong analytical and organization skills
- Self-motivated and solutions oriented
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
- Ability to work all home Broncos games, nights/weekends and keep a flexible schedule
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure
- Independent, creative problem-solver
- Highly organized, motivated and responsible with good time and project management abilities - comfortable working on multiple projects with tight deadlines in a fast-paced team environment
PREFERRED SKILLS AND ABILITY
- Prior sports industry experience is a plus
- Experience with SMS marketing platform
- Experience with Formstack or other form platform
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is a plus
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this position is $67,500 - $76,500. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
