POSITION SUMMARY

Database Manager is to provide best-in-class, proactive relationship management and services related to donors, foundations, corporate and government stakeholders. The Database Manager will develop and implement initiatives that enhance efficiency and provide value to the Development Team including: reporting, database updates, and general knowledge about donors.

Working with both Development and Finance, the Database Manager will analyze, implement, monitor, and evaluate all fund activities associated with Development initiatives.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Oversight of daily transactions

2. Daily/weekly/quarterly analytics and reporting related to revenue, communication, and or listings

3. Basic excel reporting such as pivots/V/Xlookups/Power Query

4. Evaluate big data and discern the most efficient way to build/update/manipulate datasets that source accurate and timely reporting

5. Data collection of revenue and comparison forecast

6. Maintaining records for annual audit

7. Assisting with schedules for campaigns

8. Reporting on donor giving

9. Support grant program requests

10. Support concert stewarding and fundraising events

QUALIFICATIONS
Educational, Skills, and Work Experience:

1. Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) required

2. 3+ years of CRM/database experience required, Tessitura is a plus;

3. 3+ years of non-profit donor experience or similar customer/client facing experience;

4. Data driven, attention to detail and able to translate data models into clear recommendations;

5. Ability to clearly understand, validate, interpret, and present data generated

6. Good communicator in English, written and spoken;

7. Self-Motivation - sets and achieves challenging goals; demonstrates persistence and overcomes obstacles;

8. High degree of engagement and passionate resolve;

9. Ability to work independently, sense of responsibility/ownership

10. Team player in a multi-cultural and multi-functional environment;

11. Ability to adapt easily to new responsibilities

12. Good knowledge of Excel, CANVA/PowerPoint and ideally statistical modeling

TRAVEL

Will be present at ASO performances and activities throughout the community spanning Austin and Central Texas.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position operates in a professional, non-smoking office environment, which at times can be busy with moderate noise and unscheduled interruptions. Routinely uses standard office equipment, such as computers & peripherals, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets. There may be occasional outdoor activities and exposure to weather.Due to the nature of this position and our business, background checks will be conducted as a condition of employment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
