Geodesicx, Inc. is in search of a Database Management Analyst III to join our team in the Norfolk, VA area.
The Database Management Analyst III is responsible for administering, testing, and implementing computer databases, coordinating changes to computer databases, implementing security measures to safeguard computer databases, and maintaining databases within an application area. This role supports various Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) and Command and Control (C2) systems across multiple platforms supporting Department of Defense end users.
Specific Duties:
- Administer, test, and implement computer databases in support of assigned programs.
- Coordinate computer database changes and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases.
- Maintain databases within the application area, ensuring accuracy and integrity of data.
- Work closely with other team members to coordinate database development as part of the project.
- Support the management of NAVSUP inventory and the use of databases such as Web-Based Commercial Asset Visibility (CAV), Integrated Logistics Support Management Information System (ILSMIS), and NIWC Atlantic CMPRO databases.
- Assist in the development of technical documentation and the supportability analysis of engineering change documentation.
- Contribute to the analysis of operational requirements and system key performance parameters (KPPs) and metrics identified within the program operational requirements documents and system-specific addendums.
Experience Requirements:
- Ten (10) years of professional experience administering, testing, and implementing computer databases with a Master’s degree, or fourteen (14) years with a Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience in coordinating computer database changes, implementing security measures to safeguard computer databases, and maintaining databases within an application area.
- Capable of working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
