Job Description:
Database Administrators with Applications experience are responsible for data migration, data cleanup, data reporting, as well as managing and maintaining the hardwired lines and wireless connections in a system and the hardware that hooks up to that system. Applicants are expected to have at least ten years of relevant work experience, ideally in a school or educational agency, managing school nutrition data applications, and automated processes. Job duties specific to the applicant may include:
- Proficient in Microsoft Access
- Fixed Asset System Integrations
- Testing/Piloting operations
- School rollout
- Grading user interface reports
- API connections
- Creating QR codes
- Data migration and data cleanup
- Analyzing and figuring out the system needs of an organization
- Research and development
- Keeping systems operating efficiently by performing any necessary upgrades and repairs
- Planning a strategy to maintain system security on the computers and the network as a whole
- Optimizing and evaluating the system regularly
- Assigning and updating security permissions for the system network
- Training or directing users on the correct use of software and hardware within the system
- Performing problem-solving tasks when alerted by a user or monitoring system
- Tracking, installing, and configuring software updates and performing database backups to restore and protect user information
- Installing hardware and software for the network
- Any other duties as assigned
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
