Overview:
The Database Administrator is responsible for maintaining the company’s ERP and related services, database maintenance, user accounts, document imaging and other related systems. Other responsibilities include analyzing business needs as well as creating and providing tools to improve user processes.

Responsibilities:
-Design, implement, and maintain database systems

-Ensure data security and integrity

-Perform regular database backups

-Optimize database performance through tuning and indexing

-Develop and implement data migration processes

-Troubleshoot database issues and provide solutions

-Collaborate with software developers to improve database functionality

-Develop and run reports pulling data from multiple company databases and other sources

-Develop self-serve portals and systems to support and improve operating efficiency

-Analyze and improve company systems to improve operating efficiency

-Implement new hardware and software technology at the company, and integrate them into existing systems

-Look for opportunities to integrate automation into legacy, paper business systems. Work to modernize other business processes.

In addition, the Database Administrator will assist in providing technical support and maintaining the IT infrastructure of our organization:

-Install, configures, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and peripherals.

-Set up and maintain user accounts in Active Directory

-Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues

-Monitor and maintain IT systems and networks to ensure optimal performance

-Collaborate with team members to implement IT projects and initiatives

-Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures

-Perform routine maintenance tasks on IT equipment

-Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in the IT industry

Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking systems
- Proficiency in Active Directory management
- Knowledge of Teams, One Drive, SharePoint, and Outlook Exchange
-Proficiency in SQL Server, PL/SQL, ETL processes, Shell Scripting, and SSIS

-Experience in performance tuning and database administration

-Working knowledge of Python and VBA

-Knowledge of high availability solutions

-Experience with multi-authentication tools

-Power BI experience

-Report writing tools

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems or related field. Three to five years’ experience with ERP Systems.
