Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a proactive and driven individual to join their team as a Database Administrator. This role will transition into focusing on managing servers, designing and testing workflow processes, overseeing system updates and enhancements, and acquiring proficiency in various programming languages. The ideal candidate will be at an early stage in their career, possessing a solid foundation in database administration and system administration.
Responsibilities:
- Manage servers to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Design and test workflow processes to streamline operations.
- Oversee system updates and enhancements to improve efficiency.
- Learn various programming languages under the guidance of the incumbent system administrator.
- Collaborate with the existing team to utilize Microsoft Dynamics CRM tool.
- Enhance existing workflows within Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
- Collaborate with the incumbent system administrator to develop a proprietary software system, aiming to replace Microsoft Dynamics in the future.
- Managing Microsoft Dynamics (MSD) system design and workflows
- Identify any deficiencies, errors, with the MSD workflows.
- Propose and implement improvements with the identified deficiencies and errors.
- Review and implement processes and workflow enhancements and improvements.
- Identify and propose additional system enhancements to the companys systems and processes.
- Identify and propose suggested software that the company could incorporate to improve processes and efficiencies.
- Integrate the Companys MSD platform with PowerBI to enhance and optimize the companys operational reporting.
- Managing Shofcrop, a proprietary software
- The use of Visual Studio Professional
- Programming in C#, html, javascript, visual basic script, and SQL
- Propose and implement improvements with the identified deficiencies and errors.
- Complete any bug fixes or code errors
- Ensure system uptime is maintained at 99.5%
Requirements:
- Background in database administration, server management, and system administration.
- Experience in workflow testing and design.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM tool preferred.
- Proficiency in programming languages preferred, with a willingness to adapt to future programming requirements.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
