Job Summary

As a Data Domain Architect Lead in our Workforce Planning team, you will be at the forefront of delivering data-promoten analytics, report automation, and visualization to support various functions. We expect you to quickly assess complex situations, develop practical problem-solving strategies, and promote business solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with team leaders, identify new process improvements, and provide quality assurance best practices for data mining/analysis services. This opportunity allows you to exhibit thought leadership, derive insights from data, and make a significant impact on our business.

Job responsibilities

  • Partnering with onshore leaders to drive projects assigned to the team and contribute to data mining architectures, modeling standards, reporting, and data analysis methodologies
  • Exhibit thought leadership and demonstrated analytical thinking to drive insights from data and perform in depth analysis to resolve a business problem by employing the appropriate tools available in the enterprise
  • Identify new opportunities to bring new process improvements and communicate data findings through engaging stories that are easy to understand
  • Quickly assesses the big picture in complex situations and identify what is critical and routinely make decisions for best course of action and to drive business solutions
  • Support internal and external processes and workflows, suggest improvements based on data analysis and provide insights into the enterprise operations
  • Work with business domain experts to identify data relevant for analysis
  • Provide and apply quality assurance best practices for data mining/analysis services
  • Collaborate with unit managers, end users, development staff, and other stakeholders to integrate data mining results with existing systems
  • Extract reports/ data, analyze and provide recommendations for the project undertaken
  • Respond to and resolve data mining performance issues.
  • Monitor data mining system performance and implement efficiency improvements

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Hands on experience for data pull using SQL(Relational) and Alteryx, delivering reports and insights, data analytics inference, and visualizations to communicate with partners and stakeholders
  • Understanding and hands on experience of designing and implementing Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes
  • Proficiency in critical thinking and problem solving
  • Familiarity with basic data table operations Structured Query Language (SQL, etc.)
  • Technical knowledge of data management and governance, big data platforms, and data architecture especially in relation to AWS and Snowflake
  • Strong Tableau and Tableau Server knowledge and skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Develop new analytical methods and/or tools as required

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years or Master’s+ with 4+ years of experience operating as reporting and analytics professional with background in either Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Science, or related discipline
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and Excellent analytical skills
  • Experience in large scale data handling, Python, PySpark, and xposure to cloud Amazon Web Services (AWS / Azure)
  • Other visualization designing tools such as Power Business Intelligence (BI), Illustrator, Adobe Analytics or equivalent is a plus
  • Ability to guide and conduct research and drive valuable insights from data
  • Working experience or exposure of Agile
  • Understanding of Scrum model is good to have
