The Corporate Trainer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and delivering training programs tailored to the needs of our property management professionals. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring that our team members possess the knowledge, skills, and expertise necessary to excel in their roles and deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and update training materials, including manuals, presentations, and online resources, to support various aspects of property management operations.
  • Design and deliver engaging and interactive training sessions, workshops, and seminars for property management staff at all levels.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify training gaps and opportunities for skill enhancement within the organization.
  • Collaborate with Director of Operations to customize training programs based on specific job roles and responsibilities.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives through participant feedback, performance metrics, and other relevant measures.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and support to employees to reinforce learning and address individual development needs.
  • Stay aware of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to property management and integrate relevant content into training programs.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and certifications for compliance and reporting purposes.
  • Assign and monitor training sessions as assigned by Performance Improvement Plans in the corrective action process.
  • Collaborate with Regional Community Managers to assess and address training needs for team members in their respective regions and schedule group training, as necessary.
  • Complete special projects and tasks as assigned by direct supervisor.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the quality and impact of training initiatives through innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Travel to properties as needed.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a corporate trainer, preferably in the property management or real estate industry.
  • Strong understanding of property management principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to effectively engage diverse audiences and adapt training approaches to meet different learning styles.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in instructional design and curriculum development.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management abilities.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
  • Certification in training and development (e.g., CPLP, CPTM) is a plus.
