Employment Information

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Knowledgeable in Codes specific to the Oil and Gas / Petrochemical industry.
  • Maintain all company ASME and NBIC Code stamps.
  • Able to read blueprints, ISOs, and PI&D's
  • Executes visual inspections per Code, drawings, and other applicable standards.
  • Knowledge in computer programs such as Microsoft Office 365, Adobe and other project specific software platforms as required.
  • Proactively develops and reviews Inspection and Test Plans and any other quality documents for applicability, when required.
  • Knowledgeable in use of Quality Inspection tools and calibration requirements.
  • Implement and maintain QA/QC policies and procedures.
  • Travel to job sites to assess site QA/QC teams.
  • Mentor current corporate QA/QC team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 10 years QA/QC management in construction or turnaround experience required.
  • Certification in AWS CWI required.
  • Working knowledge of principles and practices of mechanical engineering, design and construction, engineering survey principles, trends, techniques, mathematics, and compliance.
  • Working knowledge of QA/QC processes and procedures related to project construction.
  • Persistent and inquisitive in the pursuit of information; obtains all relevant facts.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with good vocabulary and grammar. Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one situations. Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of staff and management.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential or sensitive information or issues.
  • Must demonstrate ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance as per work schedule agreed with manager (may require working an adjusted work schedule based on project assigned and work overtime if warranted).
  • Ability to comply with applicable laws and regulations, the Company's Code of Business Conduct and other Company policies and procedures as required.
  • Must be comfortable working in all environments including excessive heats and heights as needed.

SALARY

  • $175,000 based on experience
  • Truck allowance and benefits
