Our healthcare client in Anderson, SC is looking for a Compensation Manager to fill a permanent position. Ideal candidate has prior healthcare/hospital experience.

Compensation Manager
One of South Carolina’s largest healthcare providers is seeking a Compensation Manager to join their team. This position offers a competitive salary and robust benefits package. The Compensation Manager will be responsible for leading the research of job requirements and evaluation of job positions to ensure the company is competitive in total compensation. This person will coordinate all efforts to remain competitive, including market research, compensation surveys, market adjustment calculations and proposals. Works with the HR recruitment team to assess candidate’s prior experience to make fair and equitable job offers to candidates.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Finance, Accounting, Business or related required
  • Minimum 5 years of Compensation experience including experience managing and developing a team of professionals. Healthcare experience highly desired.
  • Prior experience developing and implementing job architecture and salary ranges.
  • Experience developing and communicating compensation programs, policies, and processes.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with analyzing data to create and present meaningful, understandable models, reports, metrics, and recommendations.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of existing compensation programs and recommend changes to maximize their effectiveness.
  • Analyze market data to assess competitive position and make appropriate recommendations.

Skills/ Abilities include:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • HRIS / UKG experience highly desired
  • Extensive knowledge of human resource laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
