Job Summary:
Baerlocher USA headquartered in Cincinnati, OH is looking for an energetic and passionate Account Manager located around Texas to cover the Southwest and Western portion of the country for its PVC Additives business unit with expertise working in or with plastic masterbatch companies, compounders, converters, and/or recyclers. This position will partner with and ensure the long-term success of our customers. You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with your portfolio of assigned customers and potentials, connecting with technical specialists, key business executives, and stakeholders. You will liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Operate as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to your customers throughout your assigned territory (Southwest starting in Mississippi)
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
- Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
- Forecast and track key account metrics
- Identify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment
- Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail

Education/Relevant Industry Experience:
Minimum:
- BS in Chemistry, Engineering, Business, or a related degree; or 5+ years in a lab or technical role; OR Advanced Degree in relevant field
- Proven account management or other relevant experience
- Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
- Clean driving record for insurability
Strongly Desired:
- Proven account management or other relevant experience, preferably with plastic additives
- Experience with polymer compounding and converting.
- Experience with polymer masterbatch and/or recycling a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of driving or flying for business during travel
