Employment Information

If you’re an individual who is highly sociable, draws energy from working with people, is optimistic, dynamic, outgoing, self-motivating and loves to be on the go, this position might be for you.

You have a compelling desire to serve people through health & wellness, training all ages & walks of lives to be the best versions of them selves. To be apart of one of the fastest growing mobile personal training companies in South Florida! While supporting & achieving team success, while being committed to growing your own skills and developing into a leader within the team & develop your own personal business/brand.

After we match you with the client, you start training the client to their customized needs, at the convenience of their time & location. Clients only book you if your in the area & the time is available on your google calendar that is synced to the site to show live time availability. That means you can spend less time in the management part of your business and more time transforming bodies.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

These are the standards a Elite Trainer will maintain or exceed:

  • Be Present, not in your phone the whole session
  • Bring the energy, they are paying you for your enthusiasm & accountability!
  • Be interactive with clients, by showing examples of all exercises & not sitting down!
  • Must be able to train groups, we allow up to 4 people in the session at time, this may not always be the case but you should be comfortable training different fitness levels simantaneously!
  • Love what you do, again this is an energy exchange, people come back to work with you not because primarily for what you know but how you made them feel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

These are the standards a Elite Trainer will maintain or exceed:

  • Tee: We’re showing up at people’s houses so they want to know who we are. Make sure you wear your shirt so that they know who you are and with all of the relationships we’ve built in the community, it adds validity to you as a trainer. We aren’t trying to step on the toes of your business and want you to succeed — but when you’re with our clients, this is part of the performance.

Time: Show up on time. This is the #1 complaint that I get phone calls about from clients about our trainers. Being early (so you can START on time) is the easiest thing for you to control — being on time helps you stay more level-headed and relaxed as well as consistently reminding our clients why they’re paying so much money up front. Being late just shows a lack of respect for your client’s time and while you might not think it’s that big of a deal, it can break trust with your clients a million times over.

Transform: Put on a show when you’re training. These people have real life challenges that they may never tell you — and the show you put on by keeping them entertained, making them feel empowered and showing them their best selves is the single biggest differentiator from our trainers who have clients renewing left and right and the trainers whose clients don’t renew. Educating is not enough. We have to empower and entertain too! Little things like tying their shoes, helping them up from the floor and cheering them on when they’re at the end of their reps and struggling goes a long way.

Tag: This takes two seconds to do but is the fastest way for us to get more clients all over South Florida which means you guys get more clients who buy in for 3 months at a time so you’re not chasing them around the world. When you train a client, record a video, photo or boomerang of them training, tag @fitnessatyourdoor AND tag the city as the location.

Track: We’ve made it easier than ever to track your sessions on the site. On Friday each week, you’ll enter the name of your client and dates you trained them. It’s so easy to do and makes sure we have an accurate accounting and that we can have your back in the event that a client thinks they did less sessions. We’re working towards removing this all together for you but in the meantime, help us help you!

All 5 of these T’s are so simple and completely in your control.

COMMUNICATIONS/INTERACTIONS

  • Communicate with the client, make them feel empowered & excited about this fitness journey.
  • Make sure you are training the client the way they want to be trained.
  • Make sure you modify workouts if need be, & always communicate that client is able to handle intensity of workout!
  • In group setting training, always make known the only person your competing against is yourself!
