Liberty Athletic Club is looking for a motivated individual who can utilize their energy and excitement about fitness to help others make a lifestyle change. As a Personal Trainer at Liberty Athletic Club, you will be a part of an elite team of personal trainers making a positive impact on our membership, providing individuals and small groups with the ultimate fitness and training experience.
Primary duties/responsibility include:
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Maintain highest level of professional knowledge in health & fitness
- Remain current on certifications and new trends in the industry
- Establish and maintain base level of personal training hours per week
- Perform New Member Personal Training (NMPT) sessions
- Maintain the ability to conduct fitness assessments across all areas (cardiorespiratory, resistance, flexibility & neuromotor).
- Provide members with an appropriate training program based on goals
- Monitor and instruct clients during personal training sessions on the safe and effective use of cardiovascular, flexibility and strength training equipment
- Trainers are responsible for obtaining their clientele. The fitness director will recommend/assign trainers when appropriate.
- Fulfill first responder requirements such as responding to all club-wide emergencies, enforcing all fitness and general club-wide policies, maintaining organization of the fitness floor areas, and cleaning fitness equipment.
Job Type: Part-time
Each category has a separate pay scale and each trainer’s pay is determined by the average number of hours worked per week. The average is updated approximately every 10 weeks to reflect each employee’s most current performance record.
Salary: $27.00 - $51.00 per hour

- Bachelor's Degree (Required)
License/Certification
- NASM, ACSM, ACE or NSCA certification (Required)
- CPR and AED Certification
