Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Personal Trainer to join our fitness team. As a Personal Trainer, you will be responsible for providing personalized fitness programs and training sessions to clients, helping them achieve their health and fitness goals. Duties:
- Conduct fitness assessments and consultations to understand clients' goals, limitations, and medical history
- Design customized workout programs tailored to individual needs and goals
- Instruct and demonstrate proper exercise techniques to ensure safety and maximize results
- Provide ongoing guidance, motivation, and support to clients throughout their fitness journey
- Monitor clients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their training programs
- Educate clients on proper nutrition, hydration, and lifestyle choices for optimal health
- Maintain accurate records of client progress, including measurements, assessments, and session notes
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, research, and best practices in personal training
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of body mechanics, anatomy, physiology, and physical education
- Proven experience in personal training or related field
- Ability to design effective exercise programs based on individual goals and abilities
- Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct and motivate clients
- Experience in sports coaching or group fitness instruction is a plus
- Sales skills to promote personal training services and generate new client leads
Requirements:
- Certification in personal training from a recognized organization (e.g., NASM, ACE)
- CPR/AED certification
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or related field is preferred)
- Previous experience working as a personal trainer is strongly preferred
