General Freight Truck Driver

Do you enjoy the open road and keeping America’s supply chain moving?

We are a growing logistics company looking for a dependable and safety-conscious CDL driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting general freight across various routes, ensuring on-time deliveries while maintaining a high standard of safety.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maneuver a Class A tractor-trailer safely and efficiently
• Conduct pre-trip inspections according to DOT regulations and company policy
• Securely load, transport, and unload freight adhering to weight limitations and safe handling procedures
• Maintain accurate trip logs and paperwork, including delivery receipts and fuel records
• Plan routes using GPS navigation and comply with all traffic laws and regulations
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse personnel, and customers
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while representing our company

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record
• Minimum of 2 years experience in general freight transportation (preferred)
• Excellent safety record and strong commitment to safe driving practices
• Ability to plan routes, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines
• Strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and a positive attitude
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
