Cabinet Vision Specialist / Production Manager

Job Description: We are seeking a self-motivated and highly organized multi family Cabinet Vision designer with expertise in Cabinet Vision software or 20/20 and Microsoft products. As a production Designer, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating detail architectural drawings to ensure the timely manufacturing of cabinets and parts according to customer specifications. This is a full-time position based in Houston, TX.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Production Team to determine the most efficient method, utilizing available resources, for fabricating or purchasing the required products.
  • Generate accurate shop drawings for customer approval, adhering to AWI (Architectural Woodwork Institute) guidelines and including necessary details such as 3D drawings, sketches, models, etc., to clearly communicate the project requirements.

Demonstrate a hands-on approach in problem-solving and process development, actively resolving fabrication issues as they arise. This may involve working closely with shop personnel in the plant.

  • Possess a deep understanding of millwork and cabinet construction, ensuring designs align with industry standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Cabinet Vision, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings.
  • Prior experience in cabinet or millwork design and manufacturing is highly preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet project deadlines.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to commute/relocate to Houston, TX 77091 for in-person work.

Salary and Benefits: The starting salary for this position will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Schedule: This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule.
