Strength Society is looking to expand its team of coaches. We are specifically looking for a Strength and Conditioning Coach with a background in Baseball who is willing to work on an hourly basis to assist during our busy summer months. The hope is that these summer months prove to be fruitful and provides an opportunity for this coach to grow a roster of clients on their own inside of our space.

Position Summary
A Strength Society Coach is responsible for supporting all clients and themselves in championing happier and healthier lives by building and nurturing relationships. They provide an elevated member experience that is educational, supporting, and upholds the Strength Society Brand.

Responsibilities:

  • Develops safe, professional, and comprehensive client programs that drive client goal achievement and retention
  • Monitors and instructs clients during personal training sessions on the safe and effective use of cardiovascular, flexibility, and strength training equipment
  • Conducts fitness assessments for new clients including InBody scan, fitness history, and goal setting to assess and recommend personal training programs
  • Promotes and sells personal training programs and services
  • Completes all administrative requirements associated with each client’s fitness program
  • Remains current on certifications and new trends in the industry
  • Ensures all members feel competent, confident, and connected by providing superior customer service through complimentary and based services/programming

Qualifications:

  • Passionate about and knowledgeable in health and fitness
  • Passionate about and knowledgeable in Baseball and Baseball Strength and Conditioning
  • Strong competency inside of a weight room
  • Bachelor’s degree - in a fitness related field preferred
  • Nationally recognized personal training certification
  • Current CPR certification or ability and willingness to become certified upon hire
  • 2+ years of prior personal training or coaching experience preferred
  • Nutritional knowledge preferred
  • Proven track record of success in sales, fitness, retail, customer service, or hospitality management
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills
  • Personable, positive attitude, and collaborative team player
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and professionalism

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
