WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a member of the Engineering Team, responsibilities of theAvionics Technicianwill includetroubleshooting, installation, wiring, and maintenance. You will also oversee the assembly of wiring harnesses, read and interpret wiring schematics, perform electrical checkouts of various systems, and be able to troubleshoot electrical issues.Other expectations may include:

  • Usehand tools and a computer-based job processing system to complete work
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware issues at bench assembly and on the aircraft
  • Creation and vetting of basic wiring schematics to help engineering and production
  • Interface with Engineering personnel and provide solutions
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

  • Avionics experience is required
  • Experience withaircraft electrical systems is required
  • Proficient with using hand toolsand fasteners
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot basic problems
  • Experience with harness making and or modification
  • Knowledge of other aircraft systems such as hydraulics, flight controls, and major components helpful
  • Basic knowledge of avionics tooling
  • Ability to understand and interpret electrical engineering drawings
  • Follow directions and execute processes with minimal direction
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Ability to follow CADdrawings & electrical schematics
  • A "can-do" teachable attitude with a willingness to help any person on the team with any task
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future
