Ordinance Equipment Mechanic
Position Details:
- 1st shift with flexible start time between 6am-8am and 8-hour workdays.
- Consistent start time expected once determined.
Job Description:
As an Ordinance Equipment Mechanic (OEM), you will:
- Perform assembly, disassembly, fabrication, repair, and testing of complex electronic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural systems following military, commercial, and aerospace standards.
- Work on various systems including avionics, missiles, weapons controls, aircraft armament, and associated equipment.
- Handle electrical tasks such as component installation and wiring into assemblies.
- Conduct mechanical tasks including part removal, installation, and adjustment to precise tolerances.
- Undertake structural duties like light machining, sheet-metal work, drilling, riveting, and airframe repairs.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in using pneumatic tools, electric tools, hand tools, and precision measuring equipment.
- Ability to perform informal checks on manufactured items and assist formal inspection personnel when required.
- Capability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
Essential Physical/Mental Requirements:
- Ability to bend, reach, and lift objects within safety guidelines.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in disassembly work.
- Experience in automotive, aircraft, biomedical, or racing industries preferred.
Education Qualification:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
