Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Aviation Life Support Technician for the RWESS, supporting the Army Division. In your role as an Aviation Life Support Equipment (ALSE) Technician, you will directly support a high paced flight test team involved with testing a variety of Department of Defense weapon systems programs. You will apply your ALSE experience to provide inspections, maintenance and support of ALSE equipment for flight crew.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS


  • High School Diploma.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of Aviation Life Support Equipment experience to include intermediate maintenance.
  • Graduate of the Army, Air Force, or Navy Aviation Life Support Course.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance (U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants)


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS


  • Qualification in maintaining T-6D flight gear.
  • Qualified and extensive experience maintaining Army night vision goggles and equipment.


RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Work as part of a team.
  • Inspect, maintain, fit and adjust ALSE to include:
    • anti-G-suit,
    • oxygen masks
    • torso harnesses
    • survival vests
    • rotary-wing and fixed-wing flight helmets
    • over-water survival gear
    • HEEDS
    • oxygen systems
  • Use, adjust, maintain, and repair sewing machines.
  • Conduct life support equipment training.
