Talentvice is seeking an experienced Aviation Inspector to ensure the safety and airworthiness of civil aviation articles. You will play a crucial role in maintaining compliance with technical data and industry standards. Whether you’re examining hidden damage or evaluating external components, your attention to detail is essential.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough inspections on civil aviation articles, including preliminary assessments, hidden-damage checks, and in-process evaluations.
  • Ensure all inspections are properly executed and recorded, adhering to current technical data.
  • Verify that articles maintained or altered by this repair station meet safety standards.
  • Approve articles for return to service only after meticulous review and proper documentation.
  • Examine received and shipped parts for external damage.
  • Follow manufacturer’s instructions and current technical data during visual inspections.
  • Validate that work performed by external sources (e.g., subcontractors) and incorporated into articles meets required standards.
  • Ensure proper documentation for all external work.
  • Rely on approved technical data (manuals, instructions, guidelines) to determine airworthiness.
  • Make informed decisions based on accurate information.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience
  • Powerplant certification is required
  • Airframe & Powerplant certification is preferred
  • Familiarity with precision measuring equipment (Verniers, Micrometers, etc.)
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $53,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • Aircraft maintenance: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Airframe & Powerplant License (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Medley, FL 33166: Relocate before starting work (Required)
