Responsibilities:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as engine problems, electrical malfunctions, and brake system failures
- Conduct inspections and testing of vehicle systems to identify potential problems or areas for improvement
- Use hand tools and power tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components
- Follow schematics and technical manuals to ensure accurate repairs and installations
- Collaborate with team members to complete complex repair projects and meet deadlines
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and explaining repair processes
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as an automotive technician or in a related field preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including powertrain, electrical systems, and suspension components
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
