Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Supervisor to join our team. The Parts Supervisor will be responsible for managing the procurement and logistics of automotive parts, ensuring timely delivery and accurate inventory management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive service and possess excellent customer service skills. In the grand scheme, make this department into how you are going to run it when we are established in the dealership.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate with suppliers to procure automotive parts and accessories

- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts

- Perform regular audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions

- Collaborate with the service department to identify parts needed for repairs and maintenance

- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with part inquiries, pricing, and availability

- Utilize automotive diagnostics systems to identify correct parts for specific vehicles

- Negotiate pricing with suppliers to ensure competitive rates

- Process part orders accurately and efficiently

- Maintain a clean and organized parts department

Experience

- Previous experience in dealership automotive service or parts management is required

- Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics systems and components

- Familiarity with procurement management processes in the automotive industry

- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to customers

- Proficient in negotiating prices with suppliers to ensure cost-effective solutions

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage inventory and track orders

-Experience with DealerTrack and xTime is preferred

-Experience with Hyundai or KIA is preferred
