About Us:

MouthWatch is leading the charge in Teledentistry, continuously pushing the boundaries of what is possible in virtual dentistry applications. As an Automated Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing the suite of tests that ensure our applications operate at their best. Working in an Agile environment with many like-minded engineers, you will be responsible for maintaining application quality, making important technical decisions, and contributing to how development and QA work together. Communication is key on the MouthWatch team and so a portion of your time will be working with other technical leads to ensure interoperability between the platforms as well as working with the business and the software architect to ensure the overall vision is achieved.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright (or a similar framework) to ensure the functionality, performance, and security of our software products.
  • Determine the priority for test scenarios and create execution plans to implement these scenarios
  • Maximize test coverage for the most critical features
  • Collaborate closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.
  • Identify and report software defects, working with the development team to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings, providing input on testing strategies, estimates, and progress updates.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our QA processes and tools, recommending best practices and innovative approaches to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensuring adherence to rigorous security best practices through automated quality assurance testing.

Qualifications:

  • Experience as an Automated QA Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong familiarity with Playwright or similar frameworks for web application testing.
  • Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile development environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in reading and understanding Python code, with the ability to develop and maintain automated test scripts.
  • Familiarity with AWS and Docker.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Experience with Jira.

Salary Range:

  • $70,000 - 90,000

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
