Job Overview:

Matt Blatt CDJR is seeking a highly organized and experienced Parts Manager to join our team. As a Parts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement, inventory management, and distribution of automotive parts for our dealership. Your role will involve working closely with suppliers, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely delivery of parts to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities:

- Manage the supply chain for automotive parts, ensuring an adequate inventory is maintained at all times

- Procure parts from various suppliers, negotiating prices and terms to ensure cost-effectiveness

- Maintain accurate records of parts inventory, including tracking stock levels and conducting regular audits

- Collaborate with the service department to identify and order necessary parts for vehicle repairs

- Coordinate with the sales team to fulfill customer orders for parts and accessories

- Oversee the shipping and receiving of parts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

- Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service regarding parts availability, pricing, and order status

- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable and efficient delivery of parts

- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology

Experience:

- Previous experience in a similar role as a Parts Manager or in supply chain management within the automotive industry

- Strong knowledge of auto body repair and automotive repair processes

- Excellent negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing from suppliers

- Proficient in inventory management systems and software

- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail

- Strong problem-solving abilities to address any issues related to parts procurement or distribution

- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers, suppliers, and internal teams

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
