The Associate Key Account Manager is a high-profile role supporting key strategic partner accounts and requires the ability to act both as a team leader and player.
The Associate Key Account Manager is responsible for helping deliver positive business results and maintain a high level of customer relationship management support for assigned accounts. In addition, this role will support driving existing and new food service business opportunities.
The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, amazing organizational skills, be detail-oriented to track multiple projects simultaneously to communicate effectively both internally within Zentis and externally with multiple customer stakeholders.
Previous experience in food service is a plus.
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide support on all aspects of key customer relationship management to help maintain and grow existing customer businesses. This includes communicating internally with Zentis R&D, Regulatory, Customer Service, Operations, finance, etc. to drive quick responses to customer requests and to help lead internal customer projects.
Support food service business growth by working internally to help identify, evaluate, and secure new business through existing capabilities and identifying new opportunities (customer and product). Must be able to work effectively both as a leader and as a team-member with internal stakeholders to build business cases for new business.
Stay up to date with industry trends: Collect and interpret market data to be able to provide value added services to our customers that extend from ingredients, consumer behavior, to packaging. Use information to drive and influence positive business decisions for the company.
Formal Education Required:
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Specific Experience and Key Knowledge Requirements:
1-3 Years marketing, general management, or sales experience in a consumer-packaged goods, ingredient, or food service company.
