Position Summary: The Quality Supervisors role is to provide leadership through examples for safety, quality, and production. To ensure everything possible is being done to meet regulatory, financial, and quality expectations. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and customer specifications are met.


Qualifications
(include but are not limited to):

  • Must work and ensure you as well as employees are following all safety items.
  • Must lead safety initiatives throughout the plant.
  • Must be willing to have a positive attitude.
  • Must basic computer skills- Excel-Word.
  • Must have ability to work well with others coordinating and prioritizing multiple jobs.
  • Must have good analytical skills, and good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have a record of dependability and good attendance.
  • Must be ISO 9001:2015 internal auditor certified.
  • ISO 14001 experience a plus.
  • Must complete OSHA 30, Hazwoper 24, RCRA and DOT Training.
  • Cannot be a felon. (ATF mandated restriction)
  • Metallographic or Chemistry experience a plus.


Safety
and Environment Responsibility


  • Ensure the associates you are responsible for adhere to company policies so that all work in a safe manner with responsibility for the environment.
  • Assist in safety and 5S audits.
  • Work with Lab to ensure local and state environmental compliance. Track results.
  • Lead continual improvement efforts.
  • Ensure employee EHS training is current.


Teamwork (include but are not limited):

  • Work in coordination with all members of Parker Trutec staff to achieve desired results.
  • Work in coordination with Management to ensure daily and monthly KPIs goals are achieved:
    • Safety, Environment, Quality, Production, Sales, HR, Maintenance
Duties (include but are not limited to):
    • Manage and supervise Metallurgical lab and personnel.
  • Conduct monthly quality meetings.
  • Conduct annual ISO internal audit as well as perform ISO responsible party duties.
  • Conduct annual Management Review.
  • Send annual Customer Surveys. Compile and report results.
    • Health and Safety of all employees.
    • Monitor PLWC compliance.


    • CAR management.
    • Hazardous Waste determination and control.
    • Promote and provide leadership and support in all areas of the facility
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
    • Ability to follow and create detailed Job Instructions and/or directions.
    • Ability to maintain accurate records.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills required.
    • Ability and desire to learn.
    • Work within safety and conduct guidelines.
    • Excellent attendance a must.
    • Willingness to work over-time as needed
    • Ability to speak, write, read, and communicate in English
    • Should be energetic and willing to learn
    • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Responsible for reviewing and ensuring there is a positive work environment.
  • Other projects may be assigned as needed.
