Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic Assistant Branch Manager to assist the overall operation of the branch as needed, and take on the Branch Manager roll if the manager is sick or on vacation.

You will be required to correspond with customers via phone and email, pull orders, load and unload deliveries on a forklift, perform deliveries in a transit van, and if capable - sell to independent auto parts stores and jobbers.

You will foster our company culture of harvesting a positive environment and ensure customer satisfaction and proper branch operation.

The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach and will be committed to the expansion and success of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and enable sales targets achievement.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in direct all operational aspects including office operations, customer service
  • Working within the ERP to quote, and invoice
  • Work with the Sales Rep to coordinate deliveries
  • Pull orders, load and unload palletized or independent battery units onto delivery truck
  • Delivery orders to customers in Transit van
  • Visit and sell our automotive battery program to automotive parts stores, repair shops, and jobbers (with commissions on sale)

Job Requirements:

  • Capable of lifting up to 100 lbs
  • Proven branch / warehouse management experience in a Battery setting
  • Ability to communicate with a sales rep to meet targets
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Results driven and customer focused
  • Experience with ERP's and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with the battery industry’s rules and regulations is a plus
