Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Area Manager. You will be responsible for overseeing operations, managing a team of drivers, and ensuring the efficient transportation of goods within your designated area. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a dedication to upholding our company's standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations within your designated area
  • Manage a team of CDL-A drivers, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback
  • Monitor driver performance, safety compliance and adherence to company policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and logistics
  • Resolve customer issues and inquiries in a timely and professional manner

.Requirements:
  • Prior experience in the transportation industry is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team. Excellent communication skills.
    • Proficiency in transportation management software

  • Flexibility to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
  • Must live in or be willing to relocate to the Elko area.
