Position Title and Summary
The Regional Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) at LRS is a trusted resource for LRS employees and the operations team they support. This role will cover a specific area of LRS business, providing guidance on all people related items. The HRBP enable the business to make quick, well-informed and data driven decisions. This position is responsible for aligning people strategy with business objectives within their assigned region. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization.

Responsibilities
- Partner with the regional leadership team, providing them with expert guidance on a full range of HR related issues such as interviewing, onboarding, training and integration
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
- Understand the business goals, issues, and challenges and build effective relationships with department leaders and drive key HR related processes to solve such issue throughout the field
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to site management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
- Proactively assess team and manager development needs, make recommendations, and implement appropriate solutions
- Execute on talent management strategies to support a team’s growth and individual development plans
- Develop and drive retention initiatives to combat turnover
- Drive and enable the successful execution of strategic initiatives to support the needs of the business and/or corporate initiative. Examples include utilizing Strategic Workforce Planning; Engagement Survey; Succession Planning, Change Management; Organizational Structure, etc.
- Help identify process improvements to gain efficiencies and accuracy
- Employee relations – conduct investigations
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
- Regular site visits within assigned region.
- Performs other HR related duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications / Knowledge / Critical Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience
- Ideally 5-7 years of experience as an HR Business Partner
- Working knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines with a heavy emphasis on complex employee relations.
- Experience of working with multi-site groups of employees
- Thorough knowledge of federal and state employment laws including but not limited to EEO, ADA, FLSA, FMLA and state equivalents
- Demonstrated project management and change management experience
- Experience learning and thriving in a constantly changing environment
- Proven ability to success partner and develop effective business relationships across all levels of the organization, serving as a credible and trusted resource
- Ability to influence others, consult and coach in order to develop and implement short and long term human resources / change management initiatives
- Solid business judgment and decision-making skills including the ability to know when to escalate issues
- Ability to work independently, organize, and prioritize work
- Possesses outstanding interpersonal skills, influence and diplomacy
- Self-motivated with excellent customer service
- Deadline and results-driven

- Ability to partner and collaborate with key stakeholders, external vendors, and customers while preserving confidential information
- Ability to travel 25-30% within your assigned region

- Occasionally required to stand and walk – site visits require walking and wearing PPE
