Employment Information

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our team. Under the general direction of the Director of Maintenance or the 145 Maintenance Manager, the Aircraft Mechanic will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance, inspections, alterations, and repairs on various aircraft models. The individual in this position must adhere to acceptable or approved data, including federal aviation regulations, manufacturer's recommendations, technical manuals, and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

· Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Conduct a variety of mechanical tasks on different aircraft models, including diagnosing malfunctions, disassembly, repair, replacement, reassembly, or adjustment of aircraft systems, while ensuring compliance with federal aviation regulations, manufacturer’s recommendations, technical manuals, and industry standards.

· Communicate effectively to receive and understand work assignments, and perform complex aircraft inspections, repairs, and modifications with minimal supervision.

· Collaborate to ensure compliance with manufacturers maintenance programs, internal policies and procedures and FAA regulations.

· Completing required/as needed paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.

· Properly use and maintain company tools and equipment, complying with safety rules and procedures, and addressing unsafe conditions promptly

· Utilize the work order system for parts demand, tracking squawks, sign-offs, and labor charges to correct work orders.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

· Participate in an On-Call rotation for afterhours coverage.

· Assist in the movement of aircraft as needed.

· Support aircraft maintenance off site as required.

· Support aircraft testing which includes test flights as required.

· Drive company vehicles to pick up and/or deliver parts or components as required.

Minimum Qualifications

· Working knowledge of the FAA regulations, process specifications, Repair Station and Quality Control manuals, and company policies and procedures.

· Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

· High School Diploma or GED required.

· FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate and 2 years of aviation maintenance experience or 4 years of aviation maintenance experience to include 2 years of experience working on mid/large size aircraft preferred.

· Valid Driver’s License required.

· Basic computer skills preferred.

Pay based on Experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
