SUMMARY:

This position is primarily responsible for following FAA standards and approved methods to provide skilled, knowledgeable and satisfactory maintenance, scheduled or unscheduled, on client’s aircraft, as well as to provide an exceptional customer service experience for both internal and external customers and associates while retaining acceptable levels of safety and professionalism

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following.

  • Performs annual airframe and power plant inspections as well as preventative maintenance on aircraft.
  • Makes major or minor repairs to aircraft as necessary.
  • Performs general maintenance, alterations, structure repairs, electrical troubleshooting and repairs, painting parts and flight controls, engine repairs on piston engines, turbo-prop, turbo-jet, and turbo-fan.
  • Airframes from single engine piston to multi-engine.
  • Troubleshooting and researching as needed.
  • Parts research and ordering.
  • Consults with clients as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Must be punctual and timely in meeting all requirements of performance, including, but not limited to, attendance standards and work deadlines; beginning and ending assignments on time; and scheduled work breaks; where applicable.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of: Internet Software, Database software, Order Processing Systems, and Various Maintenance Manuals

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Airframe and Powerplant License

OTHER SKILL, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of electrical systems is a plus.
