The Center for Assisted Reproduction (CARE Fertility) has an opening for a full time, entry level, Andrology/Endocrinology (A/E) Laboratory Technician. The successful applicant will be expected to participate in weekend and holiday coverage and be willing to work at both CARE locations. (Fort Worth and Bedford)

• Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: medical technology, clinical laboratory science, chemistry, physical, or a biological science.
• No prior experience is required.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8-5pm and Friday 8am-4pm with rotating weekends

Laboratory technicians will train to perform:

• All aspects of running the in-house hormone analyzer including quality control (QC), troubleshooting, maintenance and reporting of results.
• Complete Semen Analysis
• Sperm Cryopreservation
• Sperm Wash for Intrauterine (IUI) Inseminations
• Sperm Prep for IVF/ICSI Insemination
• Sperm DNA Fragmentation testing
• Inventory control and ordering
• Upkeep of frozen specimen storage
• Receipt/Shipping and Disposition of samples

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
